Welcome To The Auction!
Lahontan Audubon Society, the local chapter of National Audubon Society, has a very active community education outreach. We host field trips to WashoeLake for school children, do classroom presentations, and provide programs for adults and families at various venues. The Lahontan Audubon Society has started a collection of bird taxidermy mounts that the Chapter uses for education at school visits, school kids’ field trips, outdoor events (ex: Earth Day, IMB Day,etc.), workshops for the general public, and other events. The various field trips require the use of binoculars and field guides that need replacing from time to time. The auction proceeds will be directed to the Education Committee for use where needed in the coming year. Our organization depends on generous donations from our members to help with costs associated with our education and conservation efforts. Please be generous with your bids on these great auction items!
